“Located in Noyo Harbor, the Marine Field Station is the only marine research facility between Bodega Bay and Trinidad. This facility is home to our growing regenerative aquaculture programs focused on urchin, abalone, and kelp. It is currently being retrofitted to increase lab space and model adaptive resilience to sea-level rise and coastal inundation.”
Join Swim California for a community evening in partnership with the Noyo Center for Marine Science, Reef Check California, and The Nature Conservancy as we celebrate the remarkable ecosystems of the Mendocino Coast. Centered on the Noyo Center's work advancing ocean science, education, and stewardship, the event will highlight how local research and community action are helping protect California's marine environment for future generations. Through conversation, storytelling, and connection, we'll explore the people and places that make this stretch of coastline so extraordinary.
